symmetrical — upload as fast as download
100%
real fiber all the way into your home (FTTH)
1week
free trial, no strings — on fiberONE 1G

No shared copper. Your own fiber.

With most connections the fiber stops hundreds of meters short of the building — the last stretch is shared by every neighbor over old copper. With us the light runs into the building and right up to your router. And where the building has CAT7 wiring, we even deliver up to 10 Gbit/s symmetrical over it, straight into your home.

Symmetrical both ways

Upload = download. Video calls, cloud backups and streaming from your home office go out as fast as they come in — on DSL and cable, often just a fraction of that.

No throttling, no caps

Unlimited data, full bandwidth — even at 8 p.m. when the whole street is streaming. Your fiber is yours alone.

Light, not electricity

Data travels as pulses of light through pure glass — immune to interference, with headroom for tomorrow’s bandwidth. 10 Gbit/s today, more tomorrow.

Point-to-point · AON

Your own laser.
Your own line.

Our fiber network runs on true AON (Active Optical Network): a dedicated laser burns just for you at the distribution point, and a dedicated fiber runs straight to you — no shared segment, no neighbors on your line. So the full, symmetrical bandwidth is there at all times. GPON, where many homes share a single fiber, we use only where the building truly leaves no other option.

AON · your standard
One fiber. Yours alone.

Dedicated laser · dedicated point-to-point line · full rate, guaranteed.

GPON · only as a fallback
One fiber. Shared.

Up to 32 homes on the same strand — only where the building leaves no other option.

Worked example at full load; bar length is proportional to bandwidth, upload grows from the center axis to the left, download to the right. Upload rates per typical provider plans (DSL/VDSL 40, cable 50, GPON 200 Mbit/s). Cable and GPON networks share bandwidth within the segment — at peak times the real rate drops further. With fiberONE every home has its own symmetrical fiber: both sides of the axis are equally long.

You can’t get closer to the internet.

The DE-CIX in Frankfurt is the world’s largest internet exchange — and our network plugs straight into it. To Google and to the DE-CIX we measure response times under one millisecond. You feel it in every click, every video call and every game: the internet feels like it’s in the next room. We peer directly with 600+ carriers and hyperscalers and run our own traffic engineering — so you’re not just first in on release day, you’ve got a reaction-time edge in every match. Some would call it a cheat. ;-)

The fiberONE figure comes from our own measurements to the DE-CIX and Google peering in Frankfurt; the other values are typical latencies of the access technologies. Low latency means web pages respond instantly, video calls without lag, cloud gaming and online play without noticeable delay.

Housing · Service-neutral in-building fiber (NE4)

One infrastructure moves in. With infinite possibilities.

The in-building fiber network (NE4) — from the building entry room into every apartment — decides for decades what your building can do. Hand it to a single provider and you build in a monopoly. We build the opposite: a service-neutral fiber network that keeps your building open to every technology and every provider of tomorrow.

  • Service-neutral & provider-independent — every provider shares the same network in parallel; residents choose with a patch cable. Just plug in, done.
  • Plug & play, no splicing — pre-terminated armored cables and standardized components, professionally OTDR-measured.
  • Value as an asset — a future-proof network is a differentiator on the property market and a letting argument that lasts.
  • Clear costs from €75 per unit — transparently calculable, no hidden fees, no long-term lock-in. Residents get online from €30/month at 1 Gbit/s symmetrical.

4 fibers, not 1. Freedom, not monopoly.

Provider-proprietary networks are almost always one-fiber setups: a single provider, its top speed, no choice. Our answer is four ready-to-use fibers per unit — each usable independently.

1
fiber = monopoly

One provider, limited speed, no choice. Other providers only reach the building via bitstream detours.

4
fibers = freedom

Several providers in parallel, gigabit speed, full flexibility — with headroom for whatever comes next.

Fiber 1

Internet

Free choice of provider — e.g. fiberONE at 1 Gbit/s symmetrical from €30 — at DSL prices.

Fiber 2

TV

Cable TV (DVB-C) or satellite (DVB-S) over a dedicated fiber — can be added later, too.

Fiber 3

Building services

A direct data line to the basement: storage, cellar services, wine fridge, classic-car cam.

Fiber 4

Flexible use

A second provider, linking two apartments when merged — or a spare for tomorrow.

The architecture: centrally served, decentrally designed.

Pre-terminated cables run from every multimedia outlet to the stairwell patch panel; a 48-fiber riser bundles everything in the building entry room. The trick: there, all four fibers of every unit can be served and patched centrally.

On top of that, the network enables Ethernet equipment-room links with at least 85% savings versus conventional retrofit installation — an extra asset for owners and investors.

References from the Rhine-Main region.

From the city quarter to the 233-meter tower: several thousand homes already run on fiberONE infrastructure — among them some of the largest and most ambitious building projects in Europe. As a developer or owner you’re in excellent company: we deliver the in-building fiber network (NE4) for projects where future-proofing isn’t an option but a requirement.

Business

Connectivity that holds — over fiber, wireless and orbit.

Dedicated fiber up to 100 Gbit/s, site interconnects over your own wavelengths or dark fiber, turnkey office networks and hosted phone systems as a service — and where our network ends, wholesale products from Deutsche Telekom and other major carriers take over. One contract, one point of contact, all your sites.

Fiber up to 100 Gbit/s

Dedicated, symmetrical connectivity with an SLA, fixed IP addresses (IPv4 & IPv6 dual stack) and priority support — your line, your bandwidth, directly at the DE-CIX.

DDoS-Protection

Attacks are detected and filtered in the backbone before they ever reach your line. Your business stays reachable — even when someone is out to take it down.

Wavelengths & dark fiber

Connect sites directly and with one another: your own wavelength (WDM) or the whole fiber — Layer 1/2, any protocol, maximum control and confidentiality.

IaaS — Internet as a Service

The turnkey network for your office space, built on Ubiquiti UniFi: Wi-Fi 7 access points, seamless roaming, guest Wi-Fi with its own portal, VLAN separation and a central dashboard. We build, run and monitor it — you pay monthly, done.

Nationwide & beyond

Where our own network ends, it carries on seamlessly: via wholesale products from Deutsche Telekom and other major carriers we connect every one of your sites — nationwide, from a single source.

Wireless & satellite

Sites within line of sight we connect by wireless link in days, not months — and for true redundancy there’s always orbit: our DNA as NYNEX satellite, for over 25 years.

Cloud phone system · Hosted PBX

Your phone system moves into our network.

Hosted and operated by fiberONE on the open FusionPBX platform — connected directly over your fiber, for voice quality without detours. No hardware in the basement, no third-party maintenance contracts: book extensions, plug in phones, start calling.

  • Unlimited extensions — across all sites
  • Queues, ring groups & call-center features
  • Voice menus (IVR) & time-based routing
  • Voicemail-to-E-Mail & Fax-to-Mail
  • Conference rooms for phone & web
  • Call recording with transcription & AI summary
  • Automatic provisioning of your desk phones
  • Multi-tenant & highly available — ideal for multiple sites

And if there’s truly no other way? We’ll even make a VDSL line happen in a pinch — or hook up your oil rig by satellite. Seriously, just ask.

Sites to connect?

From a single site to redundant multi-path connectivity — we’ll design the right architecture with you.

Is the light already at your door?

Check in seconds whether your address is on the fiberONE network — or when it will be.

Questions the light answers.

What does “symmetrical” mean — and why does it matter?
Your upload is just as fast as your download. On DSL and cable the upload is often ten times slower — you feel it on video calls, cloud storage, backups and when sharing large files. With fiber that bottleneck is gone.
Can I sign up by phone or in person?
No — you sign up exclusively online via our order form in the fiberONE portal. It takes just a few minutes and is the fastest route to your connection. If you have questions beforehand, we’re happy to help by phone.
How long does activation take?
On our own fiberONE network the line is usually available immediately — same-day. You do need fiber-capable hardware to use it: if you order a router or converter from our shop, allow 2–3 business days for shipping. In other already-connected buildings activation usually takes just a few business days; you’ll see the exact date right after the address check.
Do I have to buy a router — and can I rent one?
You need either a router with a fiber port (e.g. the AVM FRITZ!Box 5530 or 5590 Fiber) or a fiber converter combined with your existing conventional router. You’ll find both in our fiberONE Shop — along with configuration guides. We don’t offer rental hardware; thanks to router freedom you can use any compatible device of your own.
Will anything need drilling in my home?
In most buildings we’ve connected, the fiber already runs to the apartment — then we just fit the fiber socket and connect the router. If construction is needed, we coordinate everything with the property management; there are no costs for you.
Can I watch TV over the fiber too?
Yes. In most buildings we serve, we deliver FTTH-based cable TV over the same fiber into your home — with no separate cable subscription. Whether cable TV is available at your address shows up right in the address check and in your service overview. On top of that, every fiberONE customer can add the Waipu TV option at any time — regardless of the building.
How does the free trial week on fiberONE 1G work?
You try the entry plan fiberONE 1G free for a week — full bandwidth, no commitment. If you’re happy, your plan simply continues; if not, there are no costs.
What if I move to an address not served by fiberONE?
In that case you have a special right to cancel: you can terminate with one month’s notice — effective no earlier than your moving date. Best to check beforehand whether your new address might already be on the fiberONE network.

Already won before the others finished loading?

Same-day activation, around the clock: plug in the fiber, hit “Activate” in the portal — the fastest are online in 5 minutes. So when your ranked match runs lag-free, the Teams call never freezes and the 80-GB patch finishes before your coffee does: tell the world. ;-)
